|The Hub| MercTown State Bank (17)
With plenty of money to burn from two profitable jobs, it was time for Lithium to open a bank account. Now that she was primarily a legitimate mercenary, she had little to worry about someone looking at her funds and thinking she might be earning her money illegally.

Waiting her turn, she stepped up to the counter and said to the bank teller, “Good day. I would like to open an account under the name Lithium Meg.”

|The Spokes| Wilderness Equipment Outlet (95)
Walking into the Outlet, Lithium looks for things she might need as a newbie merc. Gearing gear was necessary. Anything else that would come up, like the train heist, would be mission-essential purchases as needed. Coming here was to fulfill the task of being ready for general-purpose paid-for-hire soldiers of fortune.

Once she had inspected the store, she brought the items she thought would be a promising start up to the counter.

Purchasing:
All-in-One Utility belt
Heavy Duty “overland” harness and frame (going for the package deal).

|The Arms Bazaar| Outrider Armaments (120)
Working her way back to her more familiar roots of the Black Market, she walks through the door.

“Hey, amigos, can someone here help a girl with a ride?”

She came prepared and placed a slip of paper down. Requesting one of the rebuild jobs for the CS AFC-111 Scout Rocket Cycle. She figured with their work, having something fast and putting out a decent amount of firepower would work to everyone’s advantage. Plus ammo: frag missiles. She will attempt to add the rockets as part of the whole package.

--- HUB / Naruni [Naruni Enterprises Building (21) ---

Lahz and Ray enter the Naruni store somewhat warily. The Psi-Tech will approach a sales associate as available and greet them, "I am looking for a Force Field for installation in an armor. I'd rather have you guys do the install, but it's going to be field job in a few weeks so I can't have the armor brought in here .... I am looking for a N-F40A Heavy Force Field."

Lahz's intention is actually to install this Forcefield himself in his (around town) Roadrunner Power-Armor, but since he has already had Naruni install in his other PA, the Psi-Tech figures he can handle this himself.

Ronan walks into the Northern Gun Store and starts perusing their motorcycles, looking to replace his bike with either a new Road Hog or a Streatwolf. Ronan fully expects a sales rep to approach him and try to get the sell. Whether a rep approaches him or he tracks down one, he'll greet them the same and turn up his A-game.

"Hello there. Looking to replace my bike. Want to see what sort of deals you got on a Road Hog or Streetwolf. Oxide engine. No weapons. I'd also like to see about getting a custom paint job." Ronan says to the rep.

Let's look at one of those." Ronan asks. Ronan is specifically looking for the GAW .44 Magnum Revolver.

Lithium Meg Shopping:

Merctown Bank:

A teller redirects Meg to a personal banker. She is then introduced into a litany of personal and business accounts. Finally, Meg and the personal banker agree that Meg is best suited with a cheap personal account for now with no processing fee, so long as she maintains a trivial minimum balance of 50 credits.

Meg is given a form to fill out. The form asks for details such as next of kin, address, etc etc. Much of these details are optional.

Wilderness Equipment Outlet(95).
Meg obtains the utility belt and the harness and frame for MSRP (according to book price). (OOC: Meg, when shopping for item, please add page number, book, the MSRP price for the item. See Steve's stuff as an example. As a caution to future posts, the less I have to work, the better your shopping rolls as well.)

Her attempts to purchase a CS sky cycle are rendered moot. The black market is currently out of inventory per skycycles. The usual places also seem to have a derth of functional CS equipment. Meg suspects that this is due a supply chain hit. The clerk helpfully hand the business card of a northern gun sales person and the Weapons Bazaar sell center.

Meg finally heads to the mystique quarter where she looks for a Thundergun. She finds the item for 80k.

(Should you decide to finish these transactions out, go ahead and submit a subsequent post with the following information)
a) how much do you want to deposit in the bank account. which cred stick should I delete the balance from
b) if you are going to buy the utility belt and the bag, and you are going to give me the page and book the item comes from. Then tell me which cred stick I extract the balance from
c) Should you go into northern gun to look for a different hovercycle, you'll find it very well stocked. Again, please give me the page number and book of the item you want, along with the price. Then tell me which cred stick to extract the balance from.
d) Should you want the gun, tell me which cred stick to take the 80k out of.

Lahz shopping requests:

1) Naruni Forcefield.

The naruni sales rep looks at Lahz gravely. "Installing this yourself, on a PA. This will take a bit of skill..."

Then the Naruni sales rep listens to the other requests, including the armoring of the Triax vehicle. Finally the Uteni replies:

"Listen, the armoring of the Triax Vehicle itself is going to take about a month, even if I put a rush on the order. Expect to put about 6000 creds per unit of additional armor on the front, and 7500 creds per unit of armor on the back. You can put another 250 on the front and 300 on the back. That's 1500000 for the front and 2250000 for the back. Since this is such an expensive order, we are prepared to do your forcefield install as well, and we can get that to you at the end of the week if you leave your armor with us today." The Uteni seems to be in a hurry to close the deal.

At Armstrong Bennet, Lahz meets with the engineering sales rep. He rep replies: "Thank you for your business sir. I hope you are happy with the results."

The lightning blaster is installed as ordered. The four bug zappers are already packaged and are ready to be transported to the haunt.
The tech also responds that the TW mod for the 250MD barrier bypass is largely successful. However, there is one caveat. The power cannot manifest a physical effect, i.e. a force bolt or a telekinesis or pyro/electro/hydrokinesis directly. Ergo, Telemechanics is fine, but Telemechanics Paralysis, OTOH, is not.

(OOC I'm putting this effect in so that it's not game breaking)

Devilman's does not have the TK resin weaponry on hand, but they do have the wilks gatling laser for 90k and the normal tk rifles for 100k each.

If Lahz agrees to the above purchases, please indicate a note on which cred stick(s) to deduct from and which inventory sheets to update.

MercTown Bank:
Meg will complete the form, leaving the operational details optional. She will fill out the job description as a Mercenary/Industrialist. She will consolidate all her cards into one Black Card for shopping, leaving 50 credits in the bank. Total: 1,158,950.

Wilderness Equipment Outlet (95).

Cost: 350 if purchased as part of a complete Overland Package.

Heavy Duty “Overland” Harness and Frame Backpack.
Northern Gun 2, pg. 252
Cost: 2,700 M.D.C. Overland backpack made of Mega-damage fabric with 3 M.D.C.

Mystic Quarter
Meg will pay for the Thundergun using the BM.

Northern Gun Store (108)

Meg takes the card she was given to the Northern Gun Store. They would be the next best choice for getting something fast with explosive weapon systems. She perused the hovercycles until her eyes landed on the Hornet.

“I think that will do.” She orders weapons to go along with the hovercycle:

NG-424 Hornet

Black Market Cost: (Nuclear) 995,500.

Optional Weapons:

NG-OUE2 Dual Weapon System Over and Under Combined Energy Weapon, w/ Linked fire system

NG-HL20 Long-Range Medium Laser

"So, one of those cubs, some supplies and any training manuals you have?" Ronan confirms his intent to buy.

The Grackle-Tooth goes out in pursuit of a replacement for his more than a little battered NG-A12 Anti-Ballistic Body Armor and figures if anyone would have a suit, it would be the company itself. He enters knowing what he's looking for while hiding some note on why, "Hi, Ahm 'ere lookin' fer a good blast resistant kinda armor fer some explosive werk."

Orruck's, having learned his new team ends to find themselves in firefights more often than only keeping a few bore rounds on him being logical, he enters the shop to stock up shells for his gun, knowing it to be inevitable to need it when arming or disarming explosives.

"Ahm fine with tha' price." He accepts the deal for the Anti-ballistic armor and find it hard to stop himself when he hears about equally good for him Thermo-kinetic armor line and turns his attention to it. There's some nice redundancy.

" 'Scuse me." He gets the representative's attention, "I was just gettin' some blast armor when ah 'eard somethin' 'bout Thermo-armor from a Naruni outfit an' wondered if you got some of it in medium protection an' if ah can git some too."

Once the transactions are done, Mierin heads back to the Haunt to relax until it’s time to meet the others.
