Ethan arrives at the airport by ground a few minutes after the earth-shaking explosion from the airport. The plum cloud is visible all throughout Merctown and there are alarms blaring with various units of Defenders locking down the entire city. Ethan hits ground before any Defenders or Emergency Response Teams and finds Wayne standing amid the debris watching a beautiful red-head as she struts away. Ethan's presence is almost a surprise to Wayne. Lovetta seems to be walking towards an alleyway between some hangars about 300m down the tarmac, near where Ronan spotted whatever he saw in the shadows of the alley. Both Wayne and Ethan can tell the hangar is incinerated and nothing survived the explosion of immediate value.
Vheld is nearing the descending Hovercraft and able to get a decent look at it through the smoke of its trail. Obvious damage from an explosion but the hull seems to be mostly in tact, as long as the craft gets to the ground in anything other than a free-fall it might be salvageable. Vheld's seen no sign of activity from the craft and can suspect Ray is piloting it and Lahz is either unconscious or not present. Looking towards the city, Vheld can see a wave of Defenders and Emergency vehicles heading towards the airport by both ground and air.
[The Meteor]
Lahz wakes up with a glaring headache [-10% to Skill Checks for the next 5 minutes] and finds himself immediately coughing and squinting through smoke as he hears alarms blaring. Lahz can hardly remember what happened in the virtual space, like a dream sequence that is immediately forgotten upon being woken up. Rushing out of his quarters, Lahz finds a damaged Ray attempted to maintain altitude of the damaged hovercraft repeating a single phrase. "F-F-F-Fly this ship out of here, to the t-t-t-tarmac." Lahz figures he has about 15-30 seconds before the hovercraft's engine gives out entirely and it freefalls to the tarmac below.
