The sudden shift is circumstances has Rhonen quickly snap to alert with a plan to make sure the building is truly secure still and not the affects of the darts fading faster than anticipated. He goes so far as to strongly suggest that HH go with him to do this. With his psionics, Eddie truly knows they are not alone and a new among the count is not far and in an instant everything could change in seconds for everyone.

Penny expresses her thanks to Eddie at the assistance he offers and shifts to allow for the assistance even as the situation shifts to one of urgency.

Rhonen quickly goes over pairings even as companions begin to scatter to cover as many bases as they can as quickly as they can and leave. This is not how it would happen...

Duke and Penny are quick to run for the Senator, Eddie decides to cover the garage door and their hasty escape, and Rhonen stayed between the garage and the hallway.

Duke, being only a step or two faster than Penny is first to find the Senator struggling with himself? coming out of a mirror. The Senator is not secure, far from it is clearly visible. His pause almost causes Penny to run into him who then sees this further turn an instant later. The Senator is paralyzed, momentarily freeing him from the horror of abduction that is made easier for the doppelganger. Penny is the resistance to such a creature as Duke fights the tug of war over the human. One dart sticks in the mirror, but the other catches the doppelganger and it slumps and pours like a drunk the rest of the way from the mirror onto the tiled floor.

Darts from Rhonen and Eddie fly towards the nightbane that had been paralyzed in the hall closet as the door is finally opened and the unfortunate soul collapses in a heap, securing the garage once more. Eddie's response to hearing a knock on the garage was potentially one of the fastest dart firings ever fired, seeing that the human stranger collapse right there a moment later.

Rhonen has 8 darts per gun remaining
Eddie has 7 darts remaining and has used 6 of 60 ISP
Penny has 6 darts before having to reload
Duke has used 70 ISP of 178

As he is holding the Senator during the tug of war. Thank heaven Scribbles arrives and start pumping darts into the Doppelganger.

When the Senator and Doppelganger are on the floor. He picks up the Senator and tosses him over his shoulders then grabs the doppelganger to drag. He starts heading to the garage and speaks to Scribbles and says, “Get to the garage, open the doors! Fangs, we got what we needed.”
Duke puts the real Senator into the back seat of the car and speaks, “I brought both just in case we need him for questioning. We need to secure this one.”
Into the trunk the doppelganger goes with Duke ready to Rip this ones throat out.

Rhonen moves closer to the vehicle to help cover when the main garage door opens. When HH and Scribbles move into the garage with their burdens he takes a double take, ”You guys stop for a two-for-one sale or something?”

With the senator in the back seat, Rhonen slides in next to him and pulls his handcuffs and secures the senator’s hands behind his back. He may be out, but don’t want him waking up and causing problems at the wrong time.

Rhonen then closes the car door, rolls down the window and switches from dart guns to his handgun. ”Scribbles, the bosses give you coordinates for the drop? Maybe suggest a neutral spot, in the middle of a bad part of town, to switch vehicles. Tell them to bring 10 – 20 gallons of gas with them. Split between diesel and mo-gas if possible.”

Eddie blinks in surprise at the confirmation of who that second presence in the house was. "If we can get anything out of him, that'll be a nice bonus." He pops the trunk and gets in.

With the knowledge almost everyone has a doppelganger of some form in the Nightlands, with a simple body double being the most common form he collects both the real Senator and his doppelganger and Duke hurries back to the garage to complete the extraction, Penny not far behind. Even in words he makes his sense of urgency known that they need to leave quickly.

Rhonen is the first to see Duke come into the garage with two Harald Skareli's and shares his disbelief how there could be two but doesn't spend to much time on the thought as they need to be gone five minutes ago. He suggests finding a neutral spot along the way where they can switch vehicles and have hope to keep their cover.

Even Eddie cannot believe his eyes to the sight of two, but is too hurried to vacate the area to ask and pops the trunk.

The Senator shackled and set up in the back seat of the vehicle and doppelganger likewise but stored in the trunk ad a rush is made to get the vehicle out of the garage and on the road. Eddie pulls out of the garage as normally as possibly as can be achieved and continues to drive as such until the house is a sizeable distance away before driving more like a get-away driver.

But the night is not over... and continues here
